Red is the color of power, the color that supposedly induces aggression and hunger. Do we really just want a red button to control what would be the most environmentally, economically, politically and inhumane war/disaster of all time? And is a radiation symbol enough to remind a leader of the consequences of nuclear war?
WFUNA (World Federation of United Nations Associations) has a contest to reimagine the "nuclear button".
<!--break-->
Here's your chance to design a button that would tell your world leaders what they should think about before they press the button to begin a nuclear war! What images, what words, what bold thoughts can you fit onto a button?
First prize winner will receive an Apple iPad and runner-ups (2) will receive a Flip Video Camcorder!
So get busy, get designing, and for the rules and information, check out the Official Rules, Regulations, Instructions and other Details at WFUNA !
