Hey, everyone!

Thanks for joining us at last week's conference. All conference sites-- from the US to Russia to Mexico-- achieved significant citizen progress, and helped to amplify our voices throughout the world for disarmament. Check out pictures at our Flickr page, and stay tuned for notes!

Now that the first step is done, we're hoping that you will join us for Part Two of the Dialogue on Friday November 20, 2009, in a youth visit to the U.S. Department of State (DoS).

During this trip to the DoS Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation, students will participate in direct conversation with State Department officials as PNA and Bang-USA youth representatives share findings from the International Youth Dialogue. You will also be able to hear the latest reports and updates on U.S. negotiations for nuclear treaties, from Erin Harbaugh of the DoS, and Ed Aguilar from PNA.

We will meet at the Philadelphia 30th Street Station and arrive back from Washington, DC on the same day-- exact times will be announced shortly. Transportation to DC will be provided, but all attendees will be responsible to find their own ways to the train station. Students are also responsible for their own lunches.

As space is extremely limited, please register as soon as possible, especially if you are a teacher interested in registering your students. You must register by calling the PNA office at 215.546.3030-- be ready to provide some personal information needed from each visitor for pre-clearance by the DoS.

Deadline for registration is Monday, November 16 at 9am. We hope that you will join us in this fantastic opportunity! Thanks for your support!
